Reporting infringing material

We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement. If material displayed through this service infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent, TempMailDesk, at eldad87@gmail.com.

To be effective, a notice needs to include all of the following:

  • your physical or electronic signature;
  • identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed;
  • identification of the material you say is infringing, with enough detail for us to find it — a URL is usually the only thing that works;
  • your contact details, including an address, telephone number and email address;
  • a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
  • a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.

A notice missing these elements may not be actionable, and we may come back to you for the missing parts before doing anything.

What happens next

When we receive a valid notice we remove or disable access to the material promptly. Where we can identify who supplied it, we tell them what was removed and why.

Please do not send a notice for material you have a licence to use, or for a use that is fair dealing or fair use. Misrepresenting that material is infringing can make you liable for the resulting costs and damages.

Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address. It needs your signature, identification of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification, and your contact details together with your consent to the jurisdiction of an appropriate court.

Repeat infringers

We terminate access for repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. This service has no accounts to close, so termination takes the form of blocking the addresses, domains or network ranges involved, and refusing to issue further mailboxes to them. We keep a record of notices received and of what we did about each one.

Reporting other abuse

Copyright is not the only thing worth reporting. Write to eldad87@gmail.com about harassment, fraud, or any illegal use of this service, and say what the address involved is. Mailboxes expire quickly, so report it as soon as you can — once a mailbox has expired there is nothing left for us to look at.

We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children as soon as we become aware of it, and we cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.
